Mehserle Trial

Well we got our hike in, but halfway through Brad and his coworker received phone calls from their work saying they needed to come in.  If you're on the West coast, you've been following the Mehserle Trial (a white police officer who killed a black man).  The verdict was found today: guilty of involuntary manslaughter.  That equals riots, unfortunately, due to the racial issue.  So....my husband is headed to Oakland to work the riots.  Please keep him and all others in your thoughts and prayers for their safety.  I'll keep you updated as I hear more.
